Xylofagou or Xylophagou is one of the so-called Kokkinochoria, a village of the Larnaka province. It is over 200 years old and has a population of over 7000 people.

The village of Xylophagou has many beautiful churches, including the chapel of Panagia Evangelistria and St. Georgios Church, both of which were built centuries ago. There is also a monument in memory of those who died defending their village and a newly built church dedicated to Stylianos.

The village of Xylophagou has several caves that are worth visiting. The most impressive is the cave of "Eglezou" and the cave of "Agioi Saranda", named after the Holy Saranda Martyrs. The submarine cave "Mavros Spilios" (Red Cave) is another interesting site.
